Hi colleagues i have been a postie for eight years and work in the essex are.We had a meeting with our local area rep and he had a meeting with his superiors.This is what was said by him for your interest.

"The meeting confirmed that royal mail are not sticking to the agreement throughout anglia and other divisions.Bob Gibson was there and said it is time Brendon Barber was made aware of the abrogation of the agreement.
The whole division are to ask for national industrial action to resume unless royal mail conform to the agreement.
The local industrial action strike request will be put in this afternoon (today).

So in a nutshell we could well be all out within the next week again in the southeast area.This is my first post chaps,but just wanted you to know whats happening.Lets stick this through and tell royal mail management enough is enough!.

knew it....so RM make a statement saying no more strikes for the year as we have reached an agreement....they dont stick to it and you have the right to strike. But because it wasnt made public what the 'agreement' was and that IA is still valid - you will look like the unreasonable bad guys striking anyway even though you had an agreement (how the public will see it, not me!).....clever PR
