Re: ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2010
I wonder if there will be such a thing as an "Interim Annual Conference" - everyone sits round the table and decides what will be discussed at the "Real Annual Conference" - and then having decided on such things as Disaffiliation from the Labour Party Ballot - decide not to bother by executive action - hey that's not unlike Royal Mail really

I wonder if we will have the same level of representation in next years conference as we did this - judging from a photograph I saw of some of the delegates who were asleep.

based on the number of motions on that subject submitted by Branches.

Photo? you must post it so we can all see it, although the moderators will probably not allow. The members however do have a right to know if they are not being represented.dvbuk55 wrote:I wonder if we will have the same level of representation in next years conference as we did this - judging from a photograph I saw of some of the delegates who were asleep.

I am positive that would not be allowed and I wouldn't post it anyway - I just hope that they are aware that this Conference will be monitored as closely as possible.
It's not an excuse for excess of any kind. Our futures rest on the way they conduct business and the decisions made and I don't want someone waking from a hungover stupor voting for something discussed whilst they were asleep.
Orwell lives!
