Union meetings no-one wants
The area rep for SE1 was told today that he was not welcome or wanted when he tried to hold a meeting too inform the members of the unions plans. It has also happend at 2 other office's, seem's the member's are sending a clear messege to the CWU.

Re: Union meetings no-one wants
bit silly if you ask me. i fully understand how people who lost a lot more then 2 days would be aggravated atm but ditching the union leaves you with no support what so ever. as someone else pointed out on here it would probably be better to wait till the elections then use your vote to show them you're not happy. it may sound silly but the union is made up by its members not by the few that are elected to represent us.

I think this is daft aswell would'nt it be better to listen and see what the rep says and then make your mind up.No point in doing this

That's bonkers
So, you ditch the union, then what? Do whatever jerks like Crozier & Higson want you to do?
The CWU is far from perfect, but it's all that stands between you, and the most aggressively anti-employee senior management it's been our misfortune to come across.

Re: Union meetings no-one wants
As the area rep did not call off strikes or agree the interim agreement it seems a bit daft, why not work with him to make the best out of what they percive to be a bad situation?
