When is two absences from work not two absences!

If off sick, you return to work on light duties on ATOS (ers) recomendation, then you have to go off again for an op which you know about before going back , all due to the same thing, where do you stand attendance stage wise? Is it all counted together or what?

It should count as one if it is related, as this happened to me in june was involved in a RTA while on my delivery I had a few days off , then a couple of days later after returning to work my back gave out and I had 10 weeks off and this was taken as one sick , though RM in there wisdom tried to say it was not , but I took a rep in with me for the stage warning and they decided not to issue it,
