Wouldn't this be more fair?

Post by coxie »

You know how we get balloted for industrial action, well when an agreement is on the table if they ballot us cwu members to see weather we accept the proposal or not. It would only have to be a 24 hour thing, a text vote or online vote so it doesnt waste up valuable time. But i dont see why we vote to go on strike and then the people in the suits get the say on our future.

What he says - this is an interim agreement to stop industrial action, and to outline what the next stage of talks should and will be about.

Once they have hashed out an agreement both negotiating teams are happy with then we will get to vote on it.

what's the diff between now and jan. if all goes well we are no worse off than now at the very least if it doesn't and they break the int agreement I sure strikes or threat of will recommence.

in the meantime if people have a problem just do the job properly within your contracted hours and cut off accordingly. yes life might be rough but RM can't touch you. I've been doing it for months. and every jumped up accusation gets no further than that accusation.
