culling mail=willfull delay!

Post by fleecy »

Today we had managers telling us anyone culling mail will have their delivery items counted and if they aren't working up to royal mail standards they will be done for willfull delay and taken down the conduct code :coolr , and anyone booking overtime who doesnt have enough mail( in royal mails words) will have to deliver it all irrespective of whether they go over their finish time or not and will not be able to book overtime for it.......I for one feel like im being bullied into working over my finish time, and have today asked for a grievence form against my manager who drags me into the office every morning to ask my why im booking overtime
What a nice welcome back from the strikes.....im sorry to say but the management seem to be worse than ever

Don't worry about it. Let them count your mail, if your doing enough then its all good.

If your going to slow then just hurry up and stop being a lazy arse.

So you can work as slow as you want and it doesn't matter? There SHOULD be standards, just like in any other job. What those standards should be and how there are implemented is debatable (1 minute prep test is no good).

Nobody works slow, just to a reasonable standard...unlike some who fly round and cut corners to save themselves 20 mins.....enough said!

Not even the guy in my office who hasn't finished before 4pm this week? Or the one that spends over an hour tying his walk up everyday? (straightforward to the frame) Or the one that finished at 5.15pm one day on my duty, and the rest of the week didn't get done before 3?

What about the bobby dazzler that came in at 6, started delivering at 12 and finished at 8? :chuckle

'Nobody works slow' is the most laughable comment i've seen on here. Maybe you don't but plenty do - probably not intentionally but they are useless.
