Managers hardline today....

Post by mailmonkey »

Our managers this morning were doing off-the-cuff testing of people on IPS...

Just standing behind them, unnannounced, peering at a watch..and declaring it was too slow, interviews tomorrow am supposedly....

I thought tests had to be after informing the postie?

Dunno, don't seem to be letting this go anyway, thought the spirit of the agreement today would have stopped this sort of thing..?

Didnt happen in mine! Immediatly we got in we were told that absorbtion/utilisation of hours was back on for next week :d'oh!
We are having an early union meeting tomorrow morning to discuss this latest 'Lets add fuel to the fire' insult.

So much for RM not bringing in any more changes until the New Year :lfo

A line Manager was leaning against a sorting frame for at least 20 minutes, I asked him if he was supporting the frame, His reply; "What the fu#k has it got to do with you fu#k off and do your work".
Nothing has changed, any one who thought in their wildest dreams that managers would ever be pleasant or reasonable is sadly deluded.

"Supporting the frame". Id be tempted to make him wear it if he spoke to me like that. :evil/mad

i would imagine that the union at hq would be very interested whats going on at grass roots now.every office must tell whats going on and flag it up.or send it direct through the cwu website.

I would hope the CWU were a bit to busy to worry about every little argument and dispute across Royal Mail.

If you cant handle your DOM yourself then have a word with your local Rep.
