Re: The positives and good points from todays agreement....
OK heres a few
The CWU are back in the negotiation process
Something management do NOT want.
Innovative Duty structures are back in the frame
Use them to you advantage, again something management do NOT like, but offices that have them do.
The strikes are STILL in place and will be used if management try a U-turn on the agreement.
Every office will be reviewed, our chance to put things right that management have wronged.
Agreed talks on job security
A new reward and benefits package
Fair workloads with transparent standards
Mail centre framework agreement
An agreement on Delivery Spans
Talks on D2D
Dealing with bullying and Harrasment, which includes a review of all cases
There are lots of good points in the agreement when you read through it and well worth taking I/A for imho.

Proof - you are not a postie mate - they were in discussions as far back as June but RM refused to negotiate. At least if you are trying to pretend to be a postie (on deliveries in an RDC with an extra 150 drops

There are lots of good points in the agreement when you read through it and well worth taking I/A for imho.
There has been peace talks, reviews and negotiations in The Middle East for years now. Still no definite peace and still no positive outcome that benefits all people involved. Israel still have to flex their power to show they won't be pushed over during any talks that concern their country.

Re: The positives and good points from todays agreement....
I've only read it the once without going and referencing the 07 pay+mod MTFS etc.. but the general gist of it does not fill me with the dread i thought it would. i think mainly because they have addressed job security, workload, predominately full time workforce, walk allocation etc.
sure there were a couple of things that looked dubious but, meh. swings and roundabouts init

Their seems to be a lot of "local Agreement" in the agreement. That is the only worrying bit for me, But I think we won this battle but the war is still on.

I just think both sides saw sense and realised if they didn't get some sort of agreement sorted asap there would be no business left to fight over.
