£96000 a year for what?

Post by jockstrapp »

Are we not supposed to be looked after by the CWU leadership, £96000 plus for what. We had Royal Fail by the b@lls and will never have a better chance to get things sorted out. If Hayes has any decency at all he will RESIGN and take that big w@nker Ward with him. I will never support them again. :cry :cry :cry

Just curious NT, what is your position in Royal Mail. And no I am not accusing you of being Mark Higson

I find you to be quite a condescending person.

I think Night Tonic had become very jaded a very long time ago.

Unless I have him dead wrong.

I've been paying into this sorry lot who call themselves a union for 15 years and once again we've been sold down the river. Never once have we received any kind of payment when we've been out on strike yet the money keeps rolling into the CWU's large bank account. Correct me if i'm wrong but with 120,000 members paying just under £3 per week, EVERY WEEK, that roughly amounts to £300,000 per week, and a colosal £15m per year!!! Where does all this money go?? Where has it been going all these years??? Surely lunches for these execs don't cost that much, although without mentioning names maybe they do judging by the size of their waists!!

Can someone tell me if we can gain access to their accounts? If we can't then why can't we? What are they hiding? Oh and by the way Mr Hayes etc, it's out money, the postie's money...you'll do well not to forget that.

Your way out on the subs. The take last year was £28,000,000 (million). You might also like to know the the top union bods have subsidised mortgages paid out of our contribitions. Thats us posties all over very generous. As for strike pay i took part in the first strike of 1971 when there had never been a strike in po history and we got FA in 7 weeks. The excuse was " As there had never been a strike in the history of the po we never put money aside for a strike fund" So 38 years later whats the excuse now.

PS you can get the accounts easily thats where i got the figures.
