Got told the dockers used to tie strike breakers to telegraph poles and lamposts naked, give them a good beating and leave them there.

What pisses me off the most is our strike breakers are mostly the ones that do the most OT/SA....they can afford to lose a days pay or two no probs.Yet they're be the ppl that'll lose out the most when SA's are gone etc.I'm on IVA i literally live on each weekly wage i have no overdraft/Credit cards anymore+3 1/2 yrs to go before im debt free.But whats the point if i'm looking at being £400-£500 a month down,if i can strike any 1 can :sad:

Once you turn your back on your mates and cross a picket line there is no going back :no no even if it was for one day. People simply wont forget and although things will carry on it can never be the same. :sad:

So is it really worth it for a few quid to wreck friendships you may have forged for years.

Its sad but after 2007 the strike breakers were never really “one of the lads” again, 4 out of 5 have left which I am sure was down to the feeling of no longer fitting in. :d'oh!

I think we should treat them with dignity and respect........

I was just thinking its such a shame when people live alone and unloved
penniless.. clinging onto the last vestiges of sanity/humanity
whilst replaying over and over in their heads the taunts of their ungrateful children...

Bullying and Harassment is only carried out by managers eh?

Isn't that one of the reasons we are striking?

Oh and if a mod does happen to read this - someone complained the other night about a mock-up of Dave Ward as Shrek in an avatar. If that complaint is justifiable, then what about some of your smileys?
