I think they have been left alone throughout phase 3. They will have to change there working hours (along with us) in phase 4. They wont talk about phase 5 so i guess they know they are screwed
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

Re: Royal Mail Mangers
Hi oneweepostiee well I can only say what I see, as a dom, managers have not been sacked yet in the area I work in which is a shame as some do need sacking
I think that RM have a serious issue with bad managment when and how thay are going to deal with it is another issue completely.
I am not saying all managers are bad, there are some really good managers out there and if you work in an office where there is one you'll know what I mean.

There are now more managers in the office now than there was 5 years ago it is unreal, this morning we had managers coming out of our ears, they had them in working on the sorting and there was nothing we could do about it thats what the union area rep told us,we made them feel so welcome

Hi Krussel we did not even see phase 4 I did not see it until the leaked document came out, I was Disgusted by it, door to door's for nothing wrong, wrong, wrong, if the truth be known I think there are a lot of managers that have had enough but will not admit it.krussel wrote:I think they have been left alone throughout phase 3. the views of Unites Paul Reuter can be interesting as can " Fozziebear's " on this forum . You can mock the CMA but Unite as a whole entity is quite a left leaning union . My only problem with them is bankrolling New Labour .mmax wrote:Hi Krussel we did not even see phase 4 I did not see it until the leaked document came out, I was Disgusted by it, door to door's for nothing wrong, wrong, wrong, if the truth be known I think there are a lot of managers that have had enough but will not admit it.krussel wrote:I think they have been left alone throughout phase 3. I have experienced a situation prior to privatization , when some managers were openly saying - " I'm taking the money , I can't work with these idiots in charge " . One Senior manager left as he felt he was being undermined by a more junior manager due to all the corrupt politics . I'd respect for them saying this .
The problem with Senior Management is the very old fashioned style , most businesses have rejected the top down style and see it as " unhealthy " in many respects .

Hi Norbert I agree I think that when the crunch comes a lot of managers will take the money and run, speaking from a dom's point of view I think a lot of them have made a rod for their own backs and would love to get out if the truth be known!!norbert wrote:the views of Unites Paul Reuter can be interesting as can " Fozziebear's " on this forum .
