yesterday i was one and a half hours over my time prior to delivery i informed the dom i would be over my time he agreed for me to do it also i asked if i should do my lapsing which he said yes.
went in this morning to book my ot & was greeted with "AN HOUR AND A HALF!!!!!!!" i was then told i would be prep tested on thursday i asked if i would be walk tested as well he then said pegasus has done this :arrrghhh i then asked does pegasus cycle and lapse!
a short while later i asked if anyone else would be having a prep test as 70% of the office at least booked the same amount or more i was then informed in front of a witness just the worst in the office ie me!
have i a strong case for a greivance/bullying claim?
i have a feeling it is because i am an active member of the cwu who is first on the picket line but feel i shouldnt be victimised because of this.

You're right, you shouldn't be and it's illegal for you to be singled out and victimised for legitamate union activities.

You being told you are the 'worst in the office' is an act of harrasment and you should get a form and submit it based solely on this comment made to you. Make sure witness is happy to be interviwed by investigator. Mention the prep test and the fact others went over the same day as supportive evidence of you being singled out and treated differently to the other staff. Manmagers are supposed to suppot you through such issues and the frame itself should be the first thing looked at. Raise any concerns you have about the frame eg labeling, lighting, doubled up slots and ask for these to be changed before your prep test.

With regards to prep test you will have to do it but make sure you are told exactly what is expected of you. Others here may know the standards required.

As far as I am aware there is no agreed 'Prep Test' I think the only tests they can do are a 1 minute IP test and a full prep/del test - no separate prep.

Get this checked.

If this test does go ahead - request that for EACH TEST a Union Rep is present when YOU do the test, the REP does the test AND a manager does the test to show you how it should be done. Seems a fair compromise to me :wink:

Report the comment as B&H if you can get a written statement from your witness.
