Don't think the police would have much problem with our office picket line, one (1) on picket duty, but strike 100% solid so can't complain. Thats two weeks running 100% out. So f#ck you ROYAL FAIL :cfo :mfo

yeah we were provided this information too before the strikes,
funny thing is the police have been hanging around the picket lines in the offices in my area ....good job they were not around for the first 4 hours as we had 11 on ours

In 2007 we had about 12 on the picket .
the dom phoned the police telling them we had an illegal number of pickets and could
they be moved on, word has it that he got a flea in his ear and a lecture about use of police resources.

Did you have a manager and or DOM watching you all the time like we did today and last Friday? I think it's nice having someone to watch over you and making sure you're safe and sound (everybody say awwwww).

Our picket line is both well supported and legal, at all gates, Six is only the reccomended guide line from the "DTI" as long as the everybody is being good should not be a problem please find paragraph below, from DTI guidence although the way it is Mr Mandleson will have it changed to suit him.

There is no legal restriction on the number of people who may picket a workplace entrance or exit except that the number should not be so great that
it might cause fear or distress among those seeking to cross. The DTI code of practice suggests that organisers should ensure that, in general, the
numbers should not exceed six pickets at each entrance or exit, though this is guidance only and not the law.

Long time ago before i started there,a twonk manager at my place caled the old bill because there was loads on the picket line,they turned up thinking there was trouble and stayed for tea and burgers.
Twonky wasn't happy!
