Given the views and policy of HMG why on earth do we want them to intervene?

Be careful what we wish for, it may come back to bite us on the bum!!

None of the main political parties will have my support come the General Election, given the policies they are prepared to put on the statute book once they are in power in respect of RM ... :no no

Mandy has already declared his position on RM and in particular the CWU! ... :evil/mad

Too continue the call for his department to intervene would be the equivalent of Dave Ward passing a fully-loaded revolver to Mandy ... :d'oh!

Unfortunately we will need them to intervene.
The pension deficit has become untenable even at the rates we're paying and the extra RM are throwing in.
Without goverment intervention the pension will drag the company under.
It's not something i want but we need them. :arrrghhh :arrrghhh
