Postal strikes from the past

Post by postdoom »

I was talking to an ex postie today who said that once (must have been a while ago) they went on strike for 8 weeks  Didn't get chance to ask him when this was though. He is known to be a bit of a story teller it must be said, but if anyone remembers such times i would be interested to hear about it. Makes this business now seem trivial if it's true

I'm too young too remember it but I have heard some of the older guys in my office talk about it.
