a few months ago i had about 15 hours short on pay slip, complained and was told it would be in next weeks pay. Next week only ten hours of the due money is in pay line ,so i go to girl who puts overtime in , she puts due hours in computer i witness , i tell her im doing a 3hour collection that night , so she puts that in computer too i witness that too ,couple of days later i wanted to check that all my overtime was ok for that week , we checked it and someone (not her) had changed my 3hour collection to 2 hours !! it happens every where . penny pinching everywhere for their budgets. dont let them away with anything

when i first started i had the chasing money syndrome, asking and asking. now i get the "why have you gone over" to which i give the standard reply "because i didn't finish on time" the dim knows if i get paid short i will cut off untill i am paid. no pay equals no play.
It's life Jim but not as we know it

It's disheartening. I listen to blokes in the office saying "I only went over 15,20,30 minutes or whatever" and this after striking for over 3 months and having the office flooded with casuals and managers (not strike-breakers you understand). They still use their own cars to work for nothing. I just can't understand it as I thought slavery had been abolished  :hmmmm

and then managers are willing to pay someone a flat rate 6 hours to take a walk out on overtime but it should be 5 hours
ie: 0.5 office time, 3.5 walk. 0.5 break, 0.5 travel to walk and return/pouching off. it's crazy.

None, I don't work a single minute I don't get paid for and neither should anyone else.

But if RM want to pay me a nice £30k salary, then I will take as much mail as they can give me, take 10 lots of D2D's a week and work until it's finished. If they think i'm going to do that for £250 a week though they're having a laugh. :chuckle

It's about time Royalmail modernised and invested in some clocking in machines.
Bet they don't though.

don't want that, would loose out due to job and knock going if this happened! and of course having to return to the office instead of going home

job and knock has gone already ,i very very rarely finish before my time since pegasus, so clocking in and out would be fine for me

I think you would find it helpfull when your walk becomes job and cut,...and it will.
