I only have one bag drop for almost 650 houses and each time I have to waste up to 20 mins dead walking back and forth to the bag drop - carrying an over weight bag is not an option, no matter how poor the bag drops are.

I'll post you the official document when I find it but yes you can claim for the time it takes you to get your bags as long as they are within the guidelines. It is Royal Mail's responsibility to provide you with adequate bag drops for your walk. If they are positioned in such a way you take longer they must pay you the time it takes to complete the walk.

Do your job properly and claim the overtime it takes extra or cut off.

Well it takes them months to get that sort of thing organised trust me, they'll tell you to struggle on until then doing unpaid overtime.

You mentioned that it's 'undockable' but that's just what a DOM tells you that wants to keep his budget down so he can claim his fat bonus. The reality is right now you are struggling with overweight bags so HE can get richer on your free work.

Claim it or cut off or put up with it. (Sorry just noticed you are on the six month 'dom rape trial')

Work this one out. Yesterday a bike sliencer I ordered from ebay arrived. Local postie delivered it, no van, no nothing yet this thing weighed a ton. Surely he didn't carry it the whole way??

my old delivery i did 15 years ago 32 kilos as the estate i was deliverying to had no pouch box to drop another bag anywhere near the area if i had 16kg, i would have had to walk nearly a mile to and from the nearest pouch box
