Why....? Because your ashamed..!!

Post by HESS »

Before anyone starts.....I know everyone's got different views on IA and we're all allowed our own opinion....yada yada yada...etc etc etc..!!And having read explanations/excuses from a wide variance of staff who give reasons for or against striking....and also members who seem to be quite adamant they're doing the right thing in crossing a picket-line...! :no no
So why when one of you's gets a chance to be on National TV and explain.....why they do it,or the grief they are receiving from fellow work-mates...they choose to have their face blacked-out and their voice distorted.....? Why....because you know what you are doing is SO disgusting,SO shameful and SO wrong that you don't want anyone to recognize you...yet you debate what you are doing is the right way...? If you were so sure that working through a strike is the right thing to do,then stand behind your convictions and let the nation see your pathetic face..!! It's only my personal opinion.....but to cross a picket-line is UNFORGIVABLE...!!

I can understand where your coming from, try having a chat with your mortgage people.I did and have explained the situation, they will help.
Even if it means paying a bit more in a few months its worth it.As to be honest we may all not have a mortgage if this goes the way we're all fearing.

NO! striking is the workforce standing together to protect YOUR job in the future. Nothing mindless about that. This job maybe a little bit of fun for you, a doss maybe? but this is my livelyhood and i work bloody hard to provide for my family, and would like the oppertunity to do so in the future.

People have a free choice to work if they want, Its shameful that some people start name calling because someone has gone to work to earn money to pay for their bills, I thought we were all grown ups.
If you want to strike thats fine, if you want to work thats fine.

aw get a grip ffs just look at PM`s questions in the commons every day, and listen to all these so called leaders, as for not striking fair enough, but i have heard even strike breakers moaning about how thier partners are getting the shaft in other jobs and saying its not fair, without realising it`s people like them that allows companies to do what they like, and as for the cannot afford it well that has always been a piss poor argument

Then see about asking the CWU for a hardship payment. The worse they can say is no. Worth a try though innit.

I don't beleive your'e a postie as I don't know any postie who could afford £1600 a month for a mortgage. Even if your wife works.
