Too many here,i know of at least two managers that are here in different names.
Same tactic that was used the last strike.Sad really,but thats the price we pay for being in a 'democratic society'
In an ideal world we'd all agree,but lets be honest it be very dull!
When the strikes are over and the dust has settled we'll see who was right and is still feeling safe in their jobs.
That includes managers!

no way. and im not in the business of name calling. im a very open person, and whole heartedly respect GENUINE peoples views. but what im not into is people on here maquerading as posties and trying to get a rise out of people for whatever reason.

this is a serious time for all of us genuine employees of rm, not a playground where kids can come in and wind people up. this is our future, not a game.

oh and fyi, i thaught a troll was the name given to these imposters we have been incountering. didnt realise it was some kind of slur

we are going to have those that come on and inform us they cross picket lines.My view is,that's up to them.
But pointing out the extra money they also make from their nicey nicey managers is a no no and a blatant wind up.

Either way,we're all adults and they know exactly what you guys reaction are going to be,so don't give it to them,and especially the name calling.

Well said postman ! If these people are real postmen maybe they've not had the RM treatment and had to face a discipinary or been ill and been called a liar!
I know in my work most the fulltime people that are working have disciplinary's hanging over their heads!
RM management are under pressure from the very top and i'd imagine they are worried about how this pans out for them.
But scoring brownie points here by catching postmen will not save your jobs,and if the rumour i was told is true a lot of you will be shocked when you find out what RM plan for some of your futures!

Like you said dont rise to it, we know people are crossing the picket lines but Im not wasting my time arguing with them on here why they should be striking and why Im striking. I do enough explaining during the day to the customers. If they are posties they dont need explaining to, coz whether they agree or not with the strikes, if they were posties they all know what is happening and why people feel strongly about the need to strike. Not worth the time.

Hellmail was notorious for it in 2007 - goading people about crossing picket lines and the new boat they'd bought with all the docket - then of course there was Bo***ie 40 with his flights of fantasy - all to be treated with cynicism and scorn - a bit like most matters RM

The other bit was laughing at the other site and how people tripped themselves up as they couldn't get their stories straight . Still a problem now .

It never fails to amaze me how naive some of them are about the Corporate World and all the B/S that goes with it . Seen it all before in the mid to late 90's , managers that thought they were God's Gift to the Industry being given their marching orders and reps saying " there is a God " .

i worked for a firm with two factories. our factory was earmarked for closure. so up comes the hitman, a really nasty bully. sat upstairs in the office phoning the various foremen to send people up, thats it your no longer employed, you can leave the site now. about a month after we shut the bully was finished as well and the same is going to happen to a lot of dims very soon, got to keep the ratio. the trouble is they carry on thinking it won't be them. there's only so much room in the lifeboat and royal mail don't care if a few of them go under once they've served their purpose.
