UNION IN LEEDS HAS ALREADY AGREED TO MOST THINGS ON THE TABL
the cwu in leeds has agreed to absortion , flexibility, two men in a van and numerous other things IS THERE TWO UNIONS? the rest of the country and the one in leeds ? i understand why people are striking but if we are alredy doing most things in leeds whats the point i know late starts are on the way and job cuts, i think the union has lost its direction and needs the leaders all the way down to area level to be singing from the same song book

Re: UNION IN LEEDS HAS ALREADY AGREED TO MOST THINGS ON THE TABL
Nigh on the whole country has signed up to absorbtion and flexibility, it is how it's being implemented by managers that's the problem. Down here in London, many of us have been working all our paid hours since, well, since the 2003 SDD agreement, another sack of shyte that, and there's simply not enough hours in the day for crap like absorbtion, or shyte like flexibility, hence, managers have been on an orgy, an absolute orgy, of bullying, of harassing, and, of intimidation, of colleagues already giving what Crozier has asked for, and that is all hours paid are being worked.
Personally, if I was Dave Ward, I'd insist that the 2007 pay and modernisation agreement be torn up.

Most offices in Leeds have been regeorouting at a lower call rate for the last year.
A few have had CD vans imposed on them with the offiicals allowing it or even collaborating, but for most that is yet to come.
A couple have had 100% BSI standards proposals but the cuts havent cut in yet for them and for most next year.
Walk sequencing ditto.
200-300 hours or more out for all offices from BSI and walk sequencing for next year.
Worth striking in Leeds? Yes indeedy! The fun is only beginning for the RM hatchetmen in the Leeds area.
