Higson intimated that they were near agreeing some sort of "period of calm", NO WAY, there must be no calling off of strike action until it's clear that Royal Mail's bullying bosses have got it through their ever-so-thick skulls, that unacceptable workloads are a definite NO-NO. Until, Billy and Dave can present the membership with a legally binding document to the effect, that the bully-boys do understand, not interpret, but clearly understand, that bullying and harassing workers to undertake unfair workloads shouldn't be the way a modern, 21st century, public service, goes about it's business, until then, we strike, and we strike hard.

I've lost the best part of sixteen days pay, seventeen on saturday, and I do not, repeat NOT, want a return to the status quo. None of us should.

This week's strikes are due to involve:

• Thursday: 43,700 staff in mail centres, delivery units in mail centres, network logistic drivers and garage staff walking out from 0400 GMT

• Friday: 400 workers at three sites in Plymouth, Stockport and Stoke, who assist mail centres by reading and entering mail addresses

• Saturday: 77,000 delivery and collection staff across the UK.

I had a horrible thought that RM would trick our Union into accepting a truce, so the fatties could coin in their bonus' over christmas, then carry on takin' the piss after the new year! Respect to our union for not allowing it to happen. WORKERS UNITED WILL NEVER BE DEFEATED!! :dance
