Re: What would it take to call of IA?
Not a lot ......
A complete retraining and revising of the management structure of our business - starting at the top.
Professional courses based on our industry to be sat and then if passed, recognised for managers. Too many plasterboard salesmen and art graduates are doing jobs they are not qualified for.
Every office to have a CWU rep and H&S officer to be jointly responsible with managers for the welfare and fair treatment of staff.
The disposal of the Pegasus system - bring back table top revisions by people who know what they are doing and what the delivery staff are up against.
Incremental rises based on length service in return for involvement in training new staff in the correct way of doing things.
Reduced physical workload for staff having to work beyond 60 to rebuild their stolen pensions.
Removal of the bonus system based on budget savings for managers. An "across the board" equal payment to be made to all staff and managers pro rata to hours worked in relation to profits only.
All additional profit to be re-invested in Royal Mail only.
Please feel free to add to the list

Re: What would it take to call of IA?
I would be happy with
Present management @ the top removed and replaced with forward thinking dynamic individuals paid a basic wage, bonuus to be calculated on customer satisfaction!!!!!!!!
Max 4 hr delivery
No redundancies
Monday to Friday 7am till 4pm with standing full time hours kept in the office
If a full timer leaves a part timer is made upto full time
Saturday Mail go on voluntary OT or for part timers
D2D to stay capped @ 3 and you get paid for them.
I know its a no no but it wouls suit me so I could spend more time with my family.

The setting up of a fully independent board to deal with Bullying and Harrassment and have the power of dismissal, I'm fed up with seeing Managers moved sideways or promoted after making some peoples lives a misery.

I'd like to see us go back to the quartly bonus's of around £50, although not a great amount you knew when it was coming and was certainly welcome unlike the new 50/50 office savings scheme.
