There are two things that are really beginning to annoy me.
One is the use of the word modernisation when they mean slash and burn.
Two is the use of the term "Final Mile".It conjurs up this image of the private companies doing a lot of work and us doing a little bit.
The truth is they do the first mile and we do every effing mile after that - a lot of them on foot.
This doublespeak is really doing my nut in.

yep with you there, royal mail hide behind the word modernisation, they let the public think they are trying to modernise the company when all they are doing is slashing jobs. Wheres the new sorting machines we have been promised for the past couple of years.
