Whats wrong if someone want to earn extra by doing some OT?

Surely in this day and age, we could all do with the extra money!

It,s bloody outrageous when it is used (maybe unwittingly in some cases) to break a legitimate official strike, at the expense of the very people that are prepared to fight for their rights. These strike breakers will achieve exactly the same rights as us who stand firm against this brutish management. We all would love to be earning more for our families, we are not standing on these picket lines in the wet and cold for our own enjoyment. You can bet your life after all this is done and dusted, they will be the ones creeping up to the Doms for more overtime and as usual it will not be spread fairly between those who want the overtime. No the a...lickers will get the cake again.

nothing wrong with a 'bit' of OT
your day off if you want
going over if you want
however in many offices (my own included) you have people running about ,cutting corners and getting away with murder as they do all the docket
we have one who gets out early to do their delivery so they can do docket for example
our office runs on docket and without it we would need a lot more staff

Understand your point of view however,
5 guys work their day off,thats a job
if you cant live on a bare wage you should fight for a better one.
Makes a mockery of us saying RM working us to death if you come in on your day off.
we fought for many years in this business to get a 5 day week.
seems a shame not to use it.
not a rant just ny opinion
