Ideas for the Picket Line?

Saw some French (rail) strikers on the TV few days ago, they were inside a Paris railway station and everyone of them had either a drum, large flag or whistle! They were having a ball. The drums probally aren't going to happen but what about having a load of whistles on the line to make a racket when the breakers scurry in? Anyone know where u can get industrial quantities of whistles in a hurry?

how about a fog horne? thats what we have for people that will be crossing our picket line tomorrow(shame on them)cant wait to see there faces when we put it off everytime a scab crosses our picket line.
