D2D for a 35hr week?

How about a deal whereby our D2D payments are ended. We get a 5-6 % pay rise and a 35 hour week.
Provided D2Ds are automated by an appropriate date. The cap is lifted but a weight limit is enforced.

We get a 35 hour week plus retaining some of the payment in a pay rise. No more absorption basically. Our D2Ds are in our workload and will be easier to deliver when they are pre-packed.

Royal mail save all the admin costs on D2D now, and increase the number to 5 or 6, gaining all the revenue from them, more than making up for our pay rise and a 35 hr week.

Do the sums add up? Does everybody win?

what about part time staff? what do they gain? or are you saying everybody put on 35 hour contracts

Then the part time staff also gain as the hourly rate goes up and their wages go up..... simples!
The part time hours won't be reduced, it's just that you gain extra money in your wages.

Coral bookmakers staff work 8 hours a day.

They work two 4 hour shifts,they dont get paid for their break in between.
