Have you been given a tie pin for serving a certain amount of years at Royal Mail? Or anything else to recognise your contribution? I'm looking for stamp-related items for an article in a new magazine...

I think we get a certificate in a lump of glass plus some sort of gift. After 30 years they invite you to a dance or something but I've never taken one and never will :so there

Someone at my place got a day at the races for him and a few mates for 10 years service, when they got there loads of DOMS were there too :funneh I don;t think they give out things like tie pins etc.

After 10 years got a framed certificate, which now houses a picture of my son, and a tie pin... a Consignia tie pin, no idea where that went. 20 years a smaller certificate in a square of plastic, a digital camera and a silver tie pin, RM one this time. The 10 year one was 2 years late :crazy:

I got my 20yrs service 4 months late , it had been under a dom's desk for those 4 months :roll:
