Aren't the mail centres out today with delivery and collections out tomorrow? If so maybe it is collections one day mail centres the next and deliveries on Saturday I think that's how it will work, if done like this week and an all out then that is two days stoppage on wages next week.

I hope it is only one day per unit per week max as the Union need to keep everyone on board for as long as possible and not give easy excuses for quick waning.

Manual Data entry Centre

If I got this right, MDeCers jump in if not - They get presented a picture of an item of mail on their VDUs which the computer cant read , they read the address and then code it, the mail is then barcoded and sent on its way.

Manual Data Entry Centres.

Any addresses the machines can't recognise are sent electronically to the MDEC where they're coded manually and the info sent back to the machine which can then sort it properly when the unrecognised items are rerun.

Manual Data Entry Centre. Royal Mail's idea of legalised slavery, paying sub-standard wages for a job that is no longer what was stated in the employees contract. Run by suit wearing gibbons, and run by the evil overlord, "two jags" peter "erm erm erm, i dont know anything" fenton.
