Lapsing more important

Post by Beforenineoclockgoodone »

I over heard a mate at work telling a DOM that he will find it hard this particular day to finish his own delivery & didn't want the overtime, the DOM then said, cull the end of your delivery but make sure the lapsing is done. I mean surely you could finish your own delivery as you are out there, & bring the lapsing back? crazy way of thinking these Dom's have.

Its just stupid and crazy   I was told last week to cut my own delivery to make sure i did my lapse when my walk is an 8 mile drive from the office and the lapse was about 600 yards away. Now lets see, which one would be easier to cover, er er er er er dim :arrrghhh :arrrghhh
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

Hey Schmoool..........You know because of the EVR's we're running on empty...!! As soon as 1 or 2 staff go sick they've nothing left in the tank...absolutely no c*nt available...!! I'm in no way defending them , just saying , they're victims of their own circumstance...the creators of their own downfall..!! Their running the place into the ground without a contingency plan...!! Let them worry about what's left...!!!! :d'oh!

spot on.
Also managers are earning brownie points because they appear to have made a success of lapsing.
This is what happens when you are target driven.
you cover your own arse because the manager above you only wants to talk about how the lapsing is doing.
because lapsing is just another tick box on the whole change agenda .
as a manager if you don't tick the box you failed.
I'm a postman-and i know where you live.....

Doesn't the word BONUS creep in here somewhere. What triggers their bonus. You can bet your life that this is the most important thing on their minds week in week out. Can't blame them can you, after all what have they got to look forward to next year, day in day out at a Job Centre Plus.

i can't believe people are still lapsing here in my office and all the officies around us we started doing the job properly. They tried the streaming, taking people off the ips to prep ect.. but we stood are ground, 1 postman at a time on the lapsed walk frame(H & S)forced to do lapsed walk first, walked out and back then had break and cut off on our own walks after a couple of weeks they gave up.
