HAVING LOOKED AT THIS SITE OVER A PERIOD OF TIME ITS BECOMMING INCREASINGLY CLEAR THAT OVER THE COUNTRY A LOT OF WORKERS ARE USING THE SITE TO GAUGE REACTION FOR THIER OWN REASONS FOR JUSTIFYING WHY THERE GOING TO GO AGAINST INDUSTRIAL ACTION.AS A CWU MEMBER TO ME THE REASONS ARE CLEAR,BEEN WELL COMMUNICATED AND WELL DOCUMMENTED IF YOU CARE TO LOOK AND ARE TO MANY TO MENTION.TO ME MONEY IS A SIDE ISSUE AT THIS TIME IF YOU CARE TO TO EDUCATE YOUSELF ON THIS DISPUTE.SO TO THE CWU MEMBERS THAT ARE SUPPORTING THANKS FOR SUPPORTING THE TRADE UNION YOU ARE PART OFF AND TO THE CWU MEMBERS WHO ARE NOT SUPPORTING THE INDUSTRIAL ACTION GET OUT NOW SAVE YOUR MONEY AS YOU OBVIOUSLY NEED IT, YOU DO NOT HELP AN INCREASINGLY DIFFICULT SITUATION FOR THE MEMBERS WHO ARE TRYING TO PROTECT FUTURE JOBS,WORKING CONDITIONS,PENSIONS ETC.

Totally agree Bezi....'money is the root of all evil'..!!! But what worries me also is......personal pride..!! Where did that disappear to...? Just being able to look yourself in the mirror and feel contented that we are doing the right thing,to walk into your D.O. with your head held high because the day before you stood on a picket-line next to your comrades,to go to the next reps meeting and stand proud knowing we took our members down the righteous path for a better workplace for all...!! At least our D.O.'s are up there buddy boi...!!!

i would say that the so called posties coming on here and are claiming that they are using this site as a justification to go to work on thursday/friday ... never had the intention of going on strike with their comrades in the first place

Im a postie and a union memeber and since this all started all iv witnessed is bullying and intimadation to others which is not what i joined the union for people have the right to make a decision its there god given right from the minute there brought into this world. The last time i checked if ya wanted suport from ur collagues you earned it not forced people into it.

I agree there is problems but if the jobs not up to ur liking get a new one theres plenty of people waiting to take ur place times change we have to change to and work our hours ur better with a job than not and all we are doing is making less jobs to go around. Im that young that my pension was naked from when i started so i just get on with it. striking was the way in the 70's not now and iv been in the job 12 years

Thanks for that.
As you say the job has changed a lot and so have the times.There are a lot more idiots in the job now that think Royal Mail will give us good conditions, wages and respect without us having to fight for it.
To turn this argument on it's head why dont you and the rest of the jellyfish leave and give the job to someone who would not spit on the graves of all the past union members that gave up alot more than we are asked to.
No doubt this will be moderated.
