So you are telling me that they have all been vetted & had aptitude tests, plus had the relevant documentation sent to them for when to start & where they are based? I don't think so.

I keep asking myself, why do we need them as Royal Mail keeps telling us that mail volumes are down 10%??

Even if they are ready to start (which i doubt) most wont have a clue what the job is REALLY about

With the bad weather drawing in how many will be left after a month when all the supermarkets start employing their xmas support staff

Yes, when I first heard of this "30,000 temp staff" shyte, my first thought was, "stoopid cnuts", RM management that is, not the poor sods who don't realise just what awaits them.

I think the news of 15,000 EXTRA temps exposes RM as the devious employer it really is.

Mail volumes apparently down 10%, Temp worker numbers up 100%.

Need I say anymore?
It's a bit worrying that these people run a multi-million £ business.

(It's not like management to fiddle a few figures

)

Yeah i have a funny feeling these extra staff wont be "fully vetted" - what does that actually mean? Cant see RM doing CRBs on 30,000 people (30k x £25 :))

I don't believe there will be thousands extra CROZ WILL WANT US TO CLEAR THE BACKLOG .
The claim was a media sound-bite to reassure he public and to threaten us .
The casuals already being hired may be brought in a week sooner i suspect.
