There is only one agreement on cycle helmets and it states you don't have to wear a helmet when cycling to and from work. If you can get hold of a copy, it might be worth appealing.

Its not just me mate, its almost the whole office bar a few chosen special ones.

One lad got sacked last year for punching another royal mail employee . Get this though, the lad who was hit ,had been sacked 2 years ago so wasnt an employee anymore. The lad who did the punching was out with his girlfriend, and the lad who been sacked years ago grabbed her boobs and made a few lewd comments. He let that go , then he did something else similair. So he got a slap, one slap that was it. This was in a nightclub about 3am. The lad who had been slapped rang the cops and tried to get claim in . they were having none of it ,there witness`s saying nothing happened and it was done with.

That was until the girlfriend who works at the same place, mentioned to one of the special ones what had happened. The DOM found out and suspended the lad in question. 3 weeks later ,sacked.

That cant be f***ing legal.

Hahaha... I better count my blessings our dom isnt soo bad..he has smoking and helmut disorder but apart from that not so bad.

Indeed mate, most of us are though arent we ! I do things id never have dreamed of before. Signing in , signing out, wearing boots, wearing helmets, locking bike, weighing bags, doing tick sheet , taking all my d2d , throw in other people rounds ,do lapsing , the list is endless and still they ask for more ! Now on about knocking the 3.5hr delivery span on the head and cutting 7 rounds and making our rounds 5hrs long , and you have to go back to the office after 3.5 hrs to have your 30min break , wtfs going on with then world

I would point out to your dim dom that he has to wear protective footwear at work (just in case, because a yorke might fall on him from the ceiling).
But seriously I think he does have to wear protective footwear. The next time he is seen pushing a yorke I would make a point of telling him, and let him know you will have to inform HS.

This sounds like bollocks mate. This has got nothing to do with RM???!!!! Wrongful dismissal if ever I heard a case, couldn't even use the "disrepute scenario"/.
