Towards the beginninbg of the Jeremy Vine Show on Radio 2 today, Monday 19th, it was interesting to hear Colin Fox of the Scottish Socialist Party who I thought gave a better account of our situation than I've heard from anyone in the CWU.

I agree Colin Fox for union spokesman. Looks like i'm voting Scottish Socialist at the next election. Glad to see he'll be on the picket line supporting us

Did you hear the twit who said "delivering letters isn't rocket science"?
If you employ 30,000 casuals to replace professional delivery staff, an awful lot of rockets aren't going to end up where they were supposed to.

The general public don't have a clue what our job involves, in the 6 or so years I've worked here there have been about 3 new starters who quit within a week, one of them stood for about 2 hours in front of a frame and just walked on day 1!!

I am sure I read on this Forum has one of the highest turnover of staff of any company in the UK.
I am remined by last year in our office we took on loads of Sat only staff ,to do away with Sat overtime,99.5% left within 2 weeks.
One guy said to me RM was good place when on the Outside looking in but not a good place when on the inside looking out,let all these whingers come and try it!!
