I would remove some information just in case this person can be identified. :cool

Shocking though if true

Ta mate, gotta be careful with the underhand RM spies, they love checking into this site and some people have had warnings.

Not sure about hospital apointements and if they are covered as sickness or special leave. I would imagine though they must be treated as the same absence surely? :arrrghhh

As far as stages go, thought they are wiped out after a year, or at least revert to Stage one. FOUR YEARS? :arrrghhh

I pray that this isn't true, but fear that it will be. Perhaps instead of the media focus on small business users being affected by the strike they should be questioning the management about things like this. Shocking!

Higson outright does not believe there is bullying and such like at RM. Maybe because most greviences are dealt with by manager chums and so it never gets to his level. This is exactly why bringing in ACAS is so scary for them.

INFO - (ACAS) http://www.acas.org.uk/index.aspx?articleid=1461" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The Guardian had an excellent feature which said that there were so many reports of bullying at RM it just could NOT be Union propaganda. Which we all know is the case, BULLYING IS RIFE AND ALIVE IN ROYAL MAIL - FACT!.

I think she will qualify for DDA then she is protected in the future get the DIM to refer her to EHS to see whether she falls into the dda bracket.

As for losing the pay Ive rung h/s up as ive been under a specialist for many years now and they told me its all above board which is a joke.

I have once given them 4hrs back were i came in on my day off for FK ALL as i said only once now i just tell them to dock my pay.

So much for a caring employer ive argued this case many times and its disgusting that a big company like R/M penailise there workers for having an illness.

this is happening all the time and its about time we started telling the press about this,
when i was off long term recently, i was admitted to hospital on xmas day and after boxing day my mum was given the task of trying to get through to the office to let them know, it took her 3 days to get the phone in the do answered and then they didnt even listen to her when she told them what was wrong with me.
Neverless i was off for 4 months and when i returned was slapped with an rtu as atos said that i wouldnt be able to work after i came back.
I had a war with the dim, won my case and back on full duties.
ive cut out alot of the boring bits but needless to say i really didnt need all the stress that came with fighting an rtu and trying to get back to 100%.
I gotta admit though i did get a bit heated in my interviews with the dim and probably shouldnt have put all those voodoo curses on him, but on the plus side my rep is the best

ATOS !!

I had an ingrowing toenail and it swelled up to the size of a babys bottle and they said I had to sort in flip flops !! true story !!

I had a slip disc and couldnt bend at all , so she said I could work on light duties, 8hrs a day sat down sorting , my pyschio went mental and the DOM said tough. I still have a bad back nowadays and that was about 5 years ago.

I had cancer and had just finished chemo, totally bald and no immune system at all , and ATOS said I could go in sorting , even though my specialist said I couldnt leave the house coz if I got a cold it could kill me :wave DOM was ringing me every 3 days even though I couldnt get out of bed I was that fecked :mfo

Got run over on my work bike by a 7.5 tonne lorry on my way out to delivery, knocked across a main road by the fecker coming out of a side street, no witness`s ,and it was a 1 way street and it wasnt the way he was going ! Went back to work , manager rang ATOS and I was told to take the day off and I could stay in sorting for the next 2 days. They then followed me home to see how I walked etc

Get into allsorts of strife in this job dont I :hmmmm

Jesus Jimmy you aint the luckiest guy in the world
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........
