Anyone on here from Rhyl or Bala D/O

Post by Exrep »

Is there anyone on this site from Rhyl or Bala delivery office ive just heard a rumour that come strike day these two D/Os will be working normally. :no no

Reason being they have no unit rep and feel let down by the union as no one from the branch has been to there offices on the lead up to our strike action. :silenced

Now its down to your own D/Os to sort out your own unit rep . :hmmmm

Why has no one stood for the position of unit rep ?????

I also understand that your P/T ratio is higher than your F/T. :confused

Please can you confirm whether this rumour is true if there are any members of RMC from either of the D/Os .

Thanks

Be very careful though of course, no personal, identifiable information :)

They ARE watching you

:Applause :Applause Well said :Applause :Applause Surely the CWU members from both of these delivery offices received letters from the Union on just what the issues are.

I'm from an office in the same geographical area as these two, Bala working wouldn't surprise me, neither would some of the Western offices in North Wales, I would be very surprised if Rhyl worked normally, the office is in a hell of a mess, one of the worst in the country apparently, I would also be very surprised if the area rep hasn't visited Rhyl, he's worked very hard during this dispute and has made himself freely available to all members in North Wales.

The larger offices in North Wales have always supported the union, Rhyl being one of them.

There was a good picket line at Rhyl today, we were told that a strikebreaker was abusing pickets as he drove through the line, lots of grievances going in against him tomorrow :funneh

Harmony, I was going from the last strike, didn't mean a geographical west, I meant the western run out out of the mail centre, Llangollen, Bala, Corwen down to Harlech and Barmouth, glad you were 100% :Applause
