Our office DIM is at his peak of bullying harassing and intimadating the workers.

He has recently started to do the performance standards test on people.

How many times in a day can he test a postie as the other day a lad in our place got tested 3 times in the space of 2 hrs whilst on the ips and he passed everytime.

Does he also have to be present like standing on your shoulder breathing down your neck with a clip board and stop watch, or does he have to inform you that your test is starting goes away and comes back to inform when it stops. With him being present and the manner in which hes conducting himself this in my eyes is blatant intimadation.

Our DOM has got a stopwatch and clicker to count your items on the ips. We get tested when we complain about the amount of mail we have to sort to the amount of sorters sorting the mail. :cfo

Easy solution to this.

Take metronome into work and when tested set the BPM to the number of items per min.

That way you can take the piss AND pass the test.

What you have to understand is RMs Brave New World.
All bets are off,all agreements are cancelled,all performance standards and tests will be on RM terms
Many offices have had to deal with this for months hence the IA
Some offices have so far been spared but its coming

reps are mostly powerless to stop this as HQ wants to aviod unofficial IA and anything else is a waste of paper

Thanks this response is really helpfull and why must the rep know this and why must they be crap as this is somethink over the last week that the DIM has only just started doing.
