What did he say? Do you have a link to it anywhere?
The time has come to stop turning the other cheek, time to stop shaking our heads in bitter dismay, time to stop mumbling our angry words.
The time has come for union.

Paul Kenny, general secretary of the GMB union, said: "It is beyond belief that in the very week Lord Mandelson has delayed employment rights for agency workers, his department has given the go-ahead for Royal Mail to hire 30,000 agency staff to break a lawful trade dispute.

"There are strict laws that forbid employers and employment agencies using agency staff to break a lawful dispute and it is the job of Lord Mandelson's department to enforce those laws."

Me and a couple of our delegation that went to the remploy demonstration in York last year had the pleasure of meeting Paul.He knows the hard work that walking postmen do as he did a stint at his local office in Stanmore when he was a builder and his work dried up.

He said that he didn`t relise how hard the job was he thought you went in a picked up a bag of mail and went out and delivered it,he as a lot of time for the c.w.u and is a very nice down to earth sort of bloke who came over to us to have a chat and thanked us for our support for the remploy workers.
