You can guarantee that on the Saturday morning after the strike, people will start well before their time, use their cars and not stop for a break. Makes you think the strike was pretty pointless really. How should these people be dealt with?! In my eyes they're the enemy as much as RM are!!

I totally agree with doing the job properly (and try my hardest to follow it), sadly it might take another 60,000 job losses before the rest of the office wake up to reality instead of breaking every rule in the book in order to try and finish early.

Once you accept working to your finish time - the pressure is off and the fun begins. It becomes RM's problem not yours, that is why they are managers.

Too many people only live for the day and cant seen how they are killing the job long term, all it would take is a couple of months work to rule to make royal mail seriously have to rethink and reshape in OUR favour.

Glad my office is not the only office! Bloody idiots they are! My Union rep does things right though!
