he spoke of the unfair competition how other operators are cherry picking, Royal Mail's rebuff of any independent third party, be it on Bullying harassment or workloads. Still stuttering but not as muich repeating himself. Andrew spoke to his guest who mentioned how the bankers have been forgiven and now the anger is with public services especially postman and how unfair this is.

Compromise, ACAS, independent enquiries(Lack of support from RML) 30,000 temp workers is a stupid move, DSA having all the profit

That's my summary.

Couldn't get any worse, but i agree...best interview i have seen him do, and got the posties point of view over well i.e. Mail volumes have increased over the last five years for posties as we have to deliver the final mile for our competitors....Well done Billy :Applause :Applause :Applause

Just seen the interview on sky news with Billy Hayes and a bloke representing the small business association (I think!).

Thought the guy from the small business association did a pretty fine job in slaughtering both the Royal Mail managment and the government over there total lack of compromise and lack of interest in proper negotiations.

Good old billy Hayes did a good job aswell, think he's getting used to being on telly!

Just watched the BBC clip.
Better than the normal effort but to me he still comes across looking like a bloke who,s just stepped out of the pub

We really need a more pro image who can play the PR game better and get our point across clearer.
This is somehthing the CWU NEEDS to learn from and address quickly.

Love him or hate him (i am still in 2 minds personally) but someone like RED KEN would fit the bill. :dance
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

Credit where credits due.
I thought Billy did much better on Sky with Adam Boulton.
Dianne Abbot supported us very well along with the leader of the small business federation.

Totally agree. He has improved but he does look like and sound like he was on the lash last night. Need someone who can take Crozier and Mandelson on through the media. :cfo
