Question for strike?

Post by seeker019 »

OK I'm in delivery, so are we on strike Thursday AND Friday i.e no deliveries for two days? or have i read it wrong.

Been reading some posts on here and can't seem to grasp if we strike for two days (thurs/fri) or just friday?

Just to double check are in a DO with no other units in the same building - if so your deffo out on Friday.

Deliveries with an MC (and some other types) in the same building go out Thursday - this may be what caused the confusion.

Have we been officially told this? Does anyone tell the non union members? Surely the mangers wont tell them they are on strike on friday, and the union just seem to speak to union members. I've just joined the union, and I'm striking, can't wait for a day off! Won't lose much as I'm paid a pittance anyway...

Im guessing there wont be much to do in regular DO's on Thursday anyway, not if the drivers are striking.
