RM Propaganda

I wasnt in yesterday but our office had a visit from a manager, I was told at first he put up a RM notice on the board and handed over some keys for a van he dropped off and walked straight out. Never asked if everything was alright and still not bothered about all the rounds being to big. Some off the lads went after him to bring him back to talk, then his manager came in to pick him up. Apparently they both didnt seemed bothered at all about the strikes, telling the ones who want to come in they wont be moved office, just come in your normal clothes, no need for uniform, if mail turns up deliver it if it doesnt go home.

The only thing one of the managers did say to one of the lads was that " Your only going on strike to help London, they (London) dont want to modernize and wont work more than a 3 hour round, thats why theyre out". The lad answered back, "The reason why Im bloody going on strike is coz off the 5-6 hour round youve got me working now so Im out till 4pm-5pm every night". The manager didnt say anything after that.

If they think theyll get us not to strike with their piss poor attitude towards us and coming out with bullshit about London theyve got another thing coming

Have they tried any off their propaganda s**t in any over offices or do they just not seem to be to bothered? :mfo :cfo :lfo

Having had time to reflect on the 'leaked' document,i think the main emphasis,was about the strikes in
London,but i think they seriously misjudged the mood around the country,the fact that many offices have
had change thrust upon them,doesn't mean we've simply fallen into line.
They tried to portray it as a problem only in London,and failed spectacularly,there's no doubt though that
the government would like to remove the CWU from the workplace,to force through it's 'modernisation'
Poor industrial relations are a hindrance to any outside investment,a long held ambition of lord mandelson,
As i see it we had no alternative but to ballot for industrial action,because the employer simply would not
listen,more disturbingly they almost seem to of invited us to take this option.
They won't want to concede anything this time,so even as Billy Hayes suggests,and we go out indefinetly,
then what?
Who's going to save this great british institution..

all my m8s in my old office(worthing )have been waiting since March when the changes came in to have a vote on industrial action.so i would say anything a manager says about the strike just being about London is ball....

This dispute has never just been about london im in the north west and every think thats going on in london is going on in our office. How these DIM witted fools think its just a london problem is beyond me and im sick and tired of hearing that B/S its just a london problem get real ffs. ROLL on friday this is going to be a long drawn out dispute i can not see a speedy resolute .
