Royal Mail document obtained by BBC

Post by Sci_Dog »

Hello again troops.

Hope you are well?

I really should start writing a daily blog.

So after my rant yesterday about Mr Crozier and his salary, pension and hidden agenda, I sat down last night to watch BBC's Newsnight. Imagine my excitement when I seen that no other than our leader Mr Billy Hayes was to be interviewed along with some Labour MP and some intelligent business analyst. Imagine my excitement even more when Newsnight revealed they had obtained a document with reference to Royal Mail and their agenda towards the upcoming strikes and the CWU. Basically in a nutshell, Royal Mail do not give a f**k about the workforce (nothing new there then, eh?). This document said that Royal Mail will clamp down on Union activity on Royal Mail time and buildings. They also said they will force through whatever changes they feel are necessary-WITH OR WITHOUT UNION AGREEMENT!

This document has to be found and shown to everyone! The fat cats at the top are going to ruin this company and bring the workforce down with them! We do not want to be another RBS where greed and bonuses were the only agenda the fat cats were working to.

Royal Mail declined all knowledge of this document! And I thought it was only local managers that lied and were deceitful? They are all rotten. Right up to the very top. Newsnight invited Royal Mail onto the programme to comment on the document and they declined! Something to be ashamed off have we Adam? Your bloody right you have! You know what your doing! Your absolutely wrecking this company whilst sitting on your comfy leather chair counting your money and watching the poor posties take the blame for YOUR mistakes and greed! Time to go Adam? I think so! I think f**king so! You've done well and you'll probably still get your nice pension. So please move over take your cash and let someone else take over the reigns that will hopefully treat the workforce with respect. Then maybe we can work with them and try and fix the mess you have created.

RESPECT AT WORK IS NOT A PRIVILEGE. IT'S A RIGHT.

Just had a wee look and yes, spot on again. Totally agree that the media should spend a little time concentratig on the top level management and the exuberant wages they get (for FAILURE!). Seems like a media blackout on that :no no

its amazing how many times i've heard or read this dispute being likened to the miners strike! lets be clear about this, our members will not be on strike day after day and certainly not taking action for a year, nor will we have to attend soup kitchens for our food. i do agree however that there are similarities and that being the objective of rm and the government, they need to take away the effectiveness of the CWU,
allow wholesale change to take place,ie carry out the "plan". it doesn't matter a jot about business going elswhere because at the end of the day that business will be in the private sector just where mr mandelson wanted it to be for privatisation to take place, funny how the conservatives haven 't been very vocal about labour's mismanagement of the situation, thats because they are 110% behind everything that is taking place. take careful note of what jobs politicians end up with when privatisation comes, and just to finish off a word of warning to members of management within royal fail, one comparison with the miners strike that will happen, your numbers will be devastated, i speak from experience.
