Re: Next May
but why is nobody telling the public this . . . . we keep getting small businesses on the news moaning about how the strikes will adversely affect them, what would they say if they knew they wouldn't get their mail until 3 each day and that's what we're fighting against ?
Together we stand, divided we fall

Re: Next May
Therefore, tell the public this. Email the media, get friendly with ANY journo (they all want a story) - let's out RM for what they are..don't moan about this, be pro-active and genuinely get at RM higher management - it is them who are the troublemakers

Re: Next May
You got it wrong the 3 o clock last letter will kick in once Royal Mail deploy their new delivery model be that with agreement or without agreement from Janauary. The 3 oclock last letter will come into your office when walk sequencing is deployed hardly improving and modernising the service/

Modernising will always only ever mean saving money
Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

Re: Next May
Finished 3pm again today, first letter 1100, delivered my last special at 2.50. I told the recipient to complain and get some compo, don't think he will. I also told the DOM that I will fail this special by about two hours, wasn't interested. Did my "summer" lapsing on the way back, including a school and a firm of solicitors, both with huge bundles, took stick from both, no break 'cos I felt under pressure, will book 1.15 tomorrow.
