does any one know if we are getting a pay rise in april? i thought it was still part of the last pay deal? :Confused

Btw what is the basic wage of a full timer??

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Good afternoon Postman,

Basic pay for a Full time postman is £323.65, that is what my pay slip say's anyway. ( Stoke on Trent Posties )

as for the Pay Deal, God know's.

Dear Colleague

ROYAL MAIL - PAY AND FUTURE UPDATE

The Union's postal executive met today (Tuesday 1st May 07) and agreed a
timetable for an Industrial Action ballot.

We have also been informed that Royal Mail has a board meeting tomorrow
(Wednesday) and subsequently have offered to meet with the Union on
Thursday.

As a result, the Union's executive has decided to make no public
announcement until after Thursday's meeting with the employer.

92 p weekly rise from efficency scheme quaters 2 and 3 is due next friday should be backdated.

Quarter 4 has yet to be added up, so more to come!
