wtl dvd on bullying, anyone else suspicious of the timing?

Post by shrew1 »

Had to watch the 43 minute video on dignity and respect at work. It was obviously filmed years ago, as they are still smoking in pubs and max branning from eastenders is in it before he became famous. Why have they released it now? conspiracy theorists at my office are suggesting they're trying to make the point in the run up to strikes, step out of line and you'll be sacked. Also.....surprise surprise....the dvd dosen't feature any bullying from managers!

Hope they show it at my office, that will be 45minutes overtime as I'm up to or over my time every day without indulging in such a media-feast! :nana

should have Guns n Roses or George Michael on their DVD's or go back further to Duran Duran going by their IR/HR strategy

God knows where they dug this out from. We had to watch that a few weeks ago, couldnt believe it. We have loads of problems with the rounds since the changes and the manager never once asked about them. :no no Instead made us watched the vid and f****d off quick after. :arrrghhh Waste of time but plenty of overtime booked that day :nana :nana

it might also be a warning to any worker against discouraging strike breakers. royal mail would love the chance to fire off some of the militants. be careful what you say.
