i think every walk in our office cut off yesterday. boss told us we need to phone and let him know if we were cutting off. we all gave him our mobil number's and told him to phone us. i don't think anyone got a call but we cut of. also heard he's said we will need to have hour's put into the office maybe even night's toward's the end of the week when it get's heavier. people once you all stick together and do the job right they can't touch you. stop using your car and just work to your time.

Our Dims words were "What you take out you must deliver! If you are unable to complete your delivery you must stream in the office as you tie up." We were told to stream in the following order: Mailsort, then if still an issue Downstream Access, then 2nd Class Prepaid, then 2nd Class Dated. Anyone caught cutting-off was threatend with disciplinary action.
The only problem with this is you do not know when you are getting out due to van drivers etc. So they introduced a 15 minute grace period where-by you could finish before the pouching off time with no reprecussions. This has also now been removed, forcing us to work past our alloted time, or face disciplinary action.

they've tried to threaten us one on one and as a group. we've stuck together. it's their own rule's we've used and stuck by. we were told we finish on our walk's so if it's our finishing time we cut off and pouch the lot back into the pouch box.

This is ridiculous. How can you tell just by looking at your frame, if you can complete on time or not? Don't you get people 'streaming' just in case? What happens if they don't take out enough, and end up at the end of their walk with 20 mins left?

This is the dilemma unfortunately. Most days streaming is the norm. Fortunately most guys are aware what they can manage now. (Wev'e had long enough since the EA was put in place (April 13th)). If the management aren't covering failed walks they are out on the prowl, and unfortunately people have been caught.
