Lapsing as in absorbing work within your hours of attendance for no extra pay due to staff absence and declined workload?
2008 national phase 3 agreement that we didnt vote on contains that!!!
We voted yes to utlise all paid work hours, but never got a vote on the detail of how that would happen.
How many of us would have voted yes to a agreement that says duty hours/attendance hours but
DOES NOT SAY within your delivery span of 3.5 hours.
RML see that as a technicality to get longer delivery spans without having to sit down and propose it the CWU and then have the discussions on the proposal. :cfo
Perahps Mandy Pandy would like to accept our right to dissagree with RML on whether absorption should be indoor outdoor or both, the national agreement leaves it up to each indivdual location and its local managers/reps to decide if its both or one or the other, just because they may end up having different views does not mean the CWU has turned its back on the agreement!!
Perhaps mandy pandy would like to read phase 3 and realise it contains the words
GENUINE and
SENSIBLE in relation to absorbing work.
