latest rumour in our do is the area manager aint happy with us being on the wally system i.e one week off in six.He reckons it aint cost effective,just wondering can he take us off this without consultation and if so how much notice should we be given thanx for any advice

one of the many DOMs we've had at my office took the wally weeks off the managers as they abused the system, I think he gave them about 2 months notice

what a wonderfull company to work for change our working conditions at the drop of a hat,No wonderer most of us dont no if were on are head or are arse

We were given a letter from our Dom saying he was giving us 28 days notice and reverting us from a 4 back to a 5 day week and all our S/A was removed

Executive action was used and we like all of London have been on strike since June.

dont want to sound condescending m8 and i no u guys along with other areas have been out for an age,and cant understand why werent called out to back u. But hopefully now Its gone nationwide there may be some light at the end of the tunnel

As i recall every office was asked to join london and scotland and hold their own ballots as rm had walked away from the 2007 agreement and imposed IA in many offices, in the end almost 500 offices have taken action but as you said Its gone nationwide and there may be some light at the end of the tunnel
