When we were out in '07 customers and local firms brought us sweets, coffee and pallets for our fire.
We wish to serve - but we will not be servile

Ask your rep to get in touch with your branch treasurer asking for some money from the branch funds for picket line duties.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Well we will be already losing our pay, and with all the cash the union get of us why shouldn't they stump up a few quid to each picket line..POSTMAN wrote:What,ya bunch of tight arses, have an office wip round lol

£2.92 a week x that by 120000 members = £350,400 a week in subs, i know know some pay pro rata so it may be alittle less, but its still a hell of alot of money, sure they could spare alittle for on the gate.
