When we were out in '07 customers and local firms brought us sweets, coffee and pallets for our fire.
We wish to serve - but we will not be servile

Ask your rep to get in touch with your branch treasurer asking for some money from the branch funds for picket line duties.

Well we will be already losing our pay, and with all the cash the union get of us why shouldn't they stump up a few quid to each picket line.. :no no

£2.92 a week x that by 120000 members = £350,400 a week in subs, i know know some pay pro rata so it may be alittle less, but its still a hell of alot of money, sure they could spare alittle for on the gate.
